PayOrProveCheck a notice

Citation & toll notice verification

Before you pay it, check the claim.

A camera citation or toll notice just landed in your mailbox. It demands money at a website you have never heard of, and it gives you a deadline. Your first question is the right one: is this real? Upload a photo of the notice. We verify the portal, pull the official record and its evidence, examine all of it, and hand you a verdict you can defend, with the reasoning and the deadline attached.

How it works

  1. 01

    You send the notice.

A photo is enough. The citation number and PIN printed on it are the only credentials we ever use. No accounts, no passwords.

  2. 02

    We verify the door.

The payment portal is checked against independent official sources before anything is trusted. A real address can be copied onto a fake notice.

  3. 03

    We pull the record.

The official file opens: who issued it, when, where, how much, and when it is due.

  4. 04

    We examine the evidence.

Every photo, the plate close-up, the video in full. Signal timing, stop line, plate match, item by item.

  5. 05

    You get a verdict.

One of four, with the evidence behind it and its limits stated plainly.

  6. 06

    The decision stays yours.

We never pay, submit, or contest anything on your behalf.

The four verdicts

Verdict

Valid and yours

It is real, it is yours, here is the exact total and the date that matters.

Verdict

Valid, not yours

The claim is real and attached to the wrong person; here is the correction path.

Verdict

Evidence insufficient

What is missing, why it matters, and the exact records request that would settle it.

Verdict

Contestable

The specific grounds, the venue, the deadline, and what to bring.

Information about the record, never legal advice.

The first check we ever ran

A father opened a mailed notice: red light, a Maryland town he had driven through once, $75 due at an unfamiliar website. Inside an hour the portal was verified against government program pages, the record was open, and all five evidence items had been examined, video included. The verdict was genuine, and the packet said what the evidence could not show just as clearly. Nothing was paid on faith.

That run is the reason this page exists.

Pricing

$9.99 per check.

Charged when you submit. If the evidence cannot be retrieved because the issuer's side blocks it, you choose a full refund or a manual attempt by hand.

While the service is young, every check is run with human review before the verdict goes out, within 24 hours.

What we will never do

  • Never pay, submit, or dispute a claim for you.
  • Never ask for a password or an account login; the notice carries its own credentials.
  • Never issue a verdict without a completed attempt to retrieve the evidence.
  • Your packet is kept on a stated retention schedule, deletable on request.

Coming next

Collection letters, checked the same way.

The citation check is the front door. The packet is the product.

Questions

Is this a law firm?
No, PayOrProve is a verification service; verdicts describe the record and its evidence.
Which notices can you check?
Red-light and speed camera citations and toll notices where the issuer provides online evidence access; if we cannot attempt yours, we say so at intake and you are not charged for a dead end.
What do I get?
A verdict packet: the claim as received, the source check, the evidence inventory, the findings, the verdict and its limits, and the due date tracked so a reminder lands before late penalties attach.
